Software for the restaurant
that closes at midnight.
MasterRMS started behind a counter in Kathmandu: a paper order book, a calculator, and an IRD invoice written by hand. We build the tool we wished we had.
The problem was never the food. It was the ten minutes after the bill: rewriting an invoice, guessing the VAT, hoping the fiscal year was right, and finding out three months later that a reprint was not accepted because the copy was not marked. Small restaurants lose evenings to that. Big ones hire someone to do it.
MasterRMS puts the invoice inside the order. When a table settles, the fiscal invoice is issued once, numbered for the Nepali fiscal year, and every later print says copy of original. The same record feeds the KDS, the stock ledger, the owner's daily report and the accountant's export. Nobody retypes anything at 11pm.
Built here, not translated here. The interface speaks नेपाली and English, prices are in rupees by default (with USD for international teams), menus carry the items people actually sell — momo, thukpa, khana sets, sekuwa — and the tax rules are the ones IRD enforces, not a generic template. That is why a new workspace can issue its first valid invoice on day one without a consultant.
Run by people who answer the phone. Support is in Nepali and English during Kathmandu hours, on WhatsApp, from the same team that writes the code. If a printer stops mid-service on a Saturday, you get a person, not a ticket number.
